Hello! I’m David Wutchiett, an academic researcher and data scientist. I specialize in developing statistical models and using machine learning techniques to answer questions using diverse data sources. Much of my research has focused on quantitative methodology and, for several years now, higher education transfer student success.
My work includes everything from predictive modeling, statistical inference, and data visualization, to addressing missing data and survey research. I have experience working in a variety of fields including sociology, political science, psychology, public opinion, and public health.
Beyond data and research, a few of my interests include writing, long distance running, photography, and the French, Spanish, and Slovenian languages. I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Feel free to explore my research publications, available on this site, or to get in touch.
