Hello! I’m David Wutchiett, a data scientist and academic. I specialize in developing statistical models and using machine learning techniques to answer questions using diverse data sources. For over five years, much of my research has focused on higher education and methodology. My work includes everything from predictive modeling, statistical inference, and data visualization, to addressing missing data and survey research. I have experience working in a variety of fields including sociology, political science, environment, and public health. I’m always excited to bring new insights and expertise to the study of challenging and pressing research questions.

I’ve presented my research both in the U.S. and internationally, and I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others. When I’m not working with data, I love improving my knowledge of languages, traveling, and spending time with family.
